As parents and caregivers, one of the hardest things to carry is worry for our children.
We want to protect them, guide them, and make sure they are okay. But over time, I’ve learned something important:
Worry is not useful. Faith is.
When we hold onto fear, we often pass that energy along. But when we release it and place our trust in God, something shifts — for us and for them.
One of the simplest ways I’ve found to do this is through what I call the Ball of Light Technique

What Is the Ball of Light Technique?
The Ball of Light Technique is a simple practice that helps you:
- Release worry, fear, and anxiety about your child
- Surround your child with light, protection, and peace
- Trust God and invite angelic support into the moment
At its core, it’s about letting go of the worry and replacing it with trust.

A Simple Way to Practice
Here is a shortened version you can try today:

Visualize your child
Picture them small — standing in your hand. -
Surround them with light
Imagine white light flowing around them, like a protective covering. -
Pray and release
Say something like:
"God, I trust you with my child. Please guide, protect, and bring them peace." -
Let go of worry
Imagine cutting the cord of fear, doubt, and anxiety — while keeping your love and connection. -
Trust they are supported
Visualize angels with them, and see them safe, calm, and okay.
This practice is not about letting go of your child —
it’s about letting go of the worry.

Why This Matters
Children are deeply sensitive to the emotional energy around them. When we shift from fear to faith, we create space for:
- calm instead of anxiety
- trust instead of tension
- peace instead of overwhelm
This is something you can return to again and again — especially during moments when worry feels overwhelming.
